Energy Action appoints former TransACT Chief Executive as new CEO

Former AGL Energy senior manager, ActewAGL Head of Retail and TransACT CEO & Chairman, Ivan Slavich, appointed as the new Energy Action CEO || Most recently head of management consultancy, TRIDENT Corporate Services, advising Federal and State Government departments and businesses || Focused on driving Energy Action’s growth as energy management becomes more critical given market volatility.
Energy management technology and services company Energy Action Limited (ASX:EAX) (“Energy Action”) today announced the appointment of Ivan Slavich as Chief Executive Officer, effective 3 April 2017.

Canberra based senior executive Ivan Slavich is poised to take his considerable energy industry experience national. Ivan has 22 years experience in the energy, telecommunications and consulting sectors, having previously held senior executive positions with the AGL Energy Group including ActewAGL. Ivan was the Head of ActewAGL’s retail division where he had responsibility for all aspects of the utilities business across energy, water and communications and cemented its place as the pre-eminent energy retailer in the ACT and the Capital Region.


Ivan was then appointed as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of privately owned communications business, TransACT Communications, substantially lifting the commercial performance of the business and was instrumental in the eventual sale of TransACT to iiNet and remained on iiNet’s executive team post-transaction.


Ivan’s most recent role was as Managing Director of TRIDENT Corporate Services, which specialises in providing management consulting services to Federal and State Government departments and small-to-medium businesses.
