Watch on as retailers battle to win your energy contract.
INDEPENDENT. TRANSPARENT. AND TRUSTED FOR OVER 20 YEARS.
How we drive down prices and make the hard work easy.
Negotiating and securing energy prices can be incredibly complex and time consuming. Here’s how we remove the complexity and get results in just 10 minutes.
We gather your energy data and information from all your sites, making sure it’s complete and accurately reflects your energy usage and needs.
Strategically aligning your needs with the retailers needs.
We understand energy retailers and their approaches to pricing, trading terms and trading strategies. Before your auction day, we invite retailers to get their “bidding plan” ready and register their interest. They can see the prices they have to beat on auction day, which often encourages them to put in a better offer.
You watch on as the bidding takes place.
Auctions are scheduled to run for 10 minutes. Energy retailers begin bidding. The price you’ll end up paying for your electricity falls whenever a retailer places a competing bid. Bids received in the final 3 minutes trigger a 5 minute extension. This makes sure all energy retailers have adequate time to submit counter bids.
You compare the bids.
Once the reverse auction has finished, Energy Action gives you detailed comparison reports. The reports contain pricing and commercial information, so you can compare each bid and choose the energy retailer that best suits you.
You select your energy retailer and sign contracts.
Using our detailed reports, and with the assistance of our account manager, you make your choice and we help you transfer your contract to your new retailer.
We're currently conducting a survey to find out how Australian businesses from all types of industries are approaching net zero.
We'd appreciate it if you could take 5 minutes of your time to help us understand your journey and help you. As a thank you for your participation, we'll send you a copy of the results published in our November edition of the Net Zero Insights.
