Workspace Commercial Furniture

Energy Action worked with Workspace to develop a simple energy management rhythm. Through Utilibox, Workspace gained visibility into contract status and pricing windows.

The client

Workspace Commercial Furniture is a South Australian-owned manufacturer with more than 110 years of heritage. It operates a large-scale facility in Melrose Park and employs over 150 staff. Workspace supplies furniture to commercial, education, aged care, and hospitality clients across Australia and runs showrooms in five major cities.

The Problem

Workspace faced the usual complexity that comes with multi-site electricity contracting.

Managing retailer communications, tracking expiry dates, and validating offers placed a burden on internal teams.

Energy decisions needed to align with budget cycles but also respond to volatile pricing.

"Energy Action makes energy contracting simple. I do not need to chase retailers or guess the right timing. It saves us time and gives us peace of mind." Tom Clark, CEO, Workspace Commercial Furniture

The Solution

Energy Action worked with Workspace to develop a simple energy management rhythm. Through Utilibox, Workspace gained visibility into contract status and pricing windows. The dedicated Account Manager handled all retailer communications, provided clear forward pricing signals, and structured procurement around Workspace’s internal timelines. This created a seamless workflow that reduced risk and increased confidence.
