Sustainability Awards

  • 2016 Solar Design and Installation Award - Grid-Connect 15 kW - 100 kW

    The award winning project was a 99.9 kW solar PV installation at an 18 storey high rise building. The project was selected as the winner by an independent panel of solar experts from what was described as a “highly competitive group of finalists” by the Clean Energy Council’s Accreditation Manager Sandy Atkins.

Environmental Initiatives

  • Carbon Offset

    As Australia’s largest Energy Management, Technology and Services firm, our experts regularly fly around the country to help businesses with their energy strategies. To offset emissions from Energy Action flights between July 2015 and September 2016, we are pleased to announce that we have purchased the equivalent amount in carbon credits – representing 493 tons of CO2 – through Climate Friendly to help finance renewable energy projects.
  • CitySwitch Green Office

    The need for Australia's business community to lower their exposure to energy pricing impacts and shift their focus to progressively more efficient and sustainable operations has never been more apparent. CitySwitch has a key role to play in addressing our carbon impact and supporting the business sectors' transition to a global low-carbon economy. CitySwitch is a high-value no-cost service which supports commercial office tenants to improve office energy and waste efficiency through the provision of a range of services, with the ultimate aim of achieving a 4 star or higher NABERS Energy rating.

Charity Support

  • Foodbank Christmas Drive

    For the 2016 Christmas holiday season, Energy Action is proud to support Foodbank Australia in providing food relief to Australians in need. The company will match ever kg of food donated by staff with $1, where $30 provides three meals a day for one month for one person.
  • 2017 CEO Sleepout

    Energy Action Interim CEO Michael Fahey will be participating in the 2017 edition of Vinnies CEO Sleepout on 22 June. This event aims to increase awareness about homelessness in Australia. Click here if you wish to make a donation
  • Australia's Biggest Morning Tea

    Energy Action offices across the country were pleased to participate in the Cancer Council's 2016 edition of Australia's Biggest Morning Tea. Members of staff baked up a storm and colleagues made generous donations to munch on the delightful homemade treats.
  • RSPCA Cupcake Day

    Energy Action staff indulged in decadent home-cooked cupcakes guilt-free in August 2016 thanks to the RSPCA's Cupcake Day. Colleagues were more than happy to make a small donation to scoff down some of the delicious treats!
  • Canberra Rotary Club - Circus Quirkus

    Energy Action supports the Circus Quirkus organised by the Rotary Club of Canberra. Circus Quirkus allows underprivileged kids to attend an eclectic circus performance, paid for by donors and sponsors.
  • Canberra Lions Club - World Festival of Magic

    Energy Action supports the World Festival of Magic hosted by the Lions Club of Canberra for local special needs and disadvantaged children.
